are two kidneys, right and left. They filter waste products out of the
blood and make urine. They help the body’s fluid balance by making more
dilute urine when there is too much fluid in the body. And making more
concentrated urine when we are dehydrated. The kidneys are very sensitive
to blood flow and to some drugs. Doctors often take blood tests to check
how well the kidneys are working.
